BEF Membership Packages
Business Environmental Forum relies on a range of funding sources to carry out its work. One source of funding that we are developing is a membership package.
All membership subscriptions are put towards priority services to help us meet the environmental and resource efficiency needs of our members. It will help us make sure members of the Business Environmental Forum get the best possible service to help make cost savings and improve efficiency through undertaking environmental improvement.

We have two different types of membership:-
- Membership for organisations with 24 or less employees and 25 or more employees
- Corporate membership
For organisations with 24 or less employees and 25 or more employees, the membership includes:-
- 2 BEF newsletters per year
- Telephone and email advice
- Reduced rates to seminars
- Invitations to BEF networking group meetings
- Discount rate for consultancy services
- Use of the BEF logo on your advertising
- Membership certificate
Corporate Membership
Becoming a corporate member of BEF is a clear demonstration of your organisation's commitment to the BEF, the environment and resource efficiency agenda. BEF credibility is dependant on working with organisations who are committed to improving their environmental performance.
Being a member can:-
- Give a positive impression to customers, suppliers and the communities you are working with
- Help your staff feel good about the organisation they work for.
As part of this membership we are asking organisations to:-
- Commit to developing an environmental policy for your business
- Demonstrate your company's commitment to becoming greener
- Actively promote BEF by linking back to BEF's website.
Benefits of Corporate Membership include:-
- An opportunity to provide a testimonial on our website
- Direct link from our website to your website to send users to your site
- A tailored press release announcing your support to the media
- The right to use the BEF logo
- BEF will provide opportunities through its own events for corporate members to promote their involvement (depending on space). Opportunities for sponsorship will also be offered.
- Corporate members on joining will receive a certificate.
- Corporate members may also be interested in becoming involved at an Advisory Group level. It is hoped that corporate members will be ambassadors for BEF and will help to recruit other organisations.
- Corporate member companies have the option of using BEF as part of a training day, which could include presentations and workshops.
- Acknowledgements in our literature and website
- Opportunity to write feature articles for BEF News
- An insert sheet in BEF Membership pack sent annually to all new and existing members
