Supported by the North York Moors National Park Authority, the York and North Yorkshire Business Environmental Forum is hosting a FREE seminar on the issues of sustainable design. The seminar will provide a range of information and case studies from designing a new building to retrofitting an existing one, with the chance to learn about methods and materials, renewables and energy efficiency.
The seminar will be of interest to anyone who is thinking about incorporating sustainable development into design and buildings. It will illustrate environmental and financial benefits and highlight the increasing popularity and awareness of the topics covered, how to reduce our environmental impact and carbon emissions.
We are pleased to announce that the Keynote Speaker is Mr Andrew Yeats, Principal Architect from the award winning Ecological Architects, EcoArc.
Other presentations will include speakers from backgrounds with expertise in resource efficiency, renewable technologies, energy efficiency, building and planning regulations and sustainable building materials.
