Hazardous Waste Awareness Seminars

In partnership with the Environment Agency and Envirowise, the Business Environmental Forum is hosting 2 free seminars to raise awareness and provide information on the new hazardous waste regulations. From 16th July 2005, the Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) will come into force.

As a business you have a duty to ensure that all waste is handled and disposed of in the correct way. Failure to do this can be extremely costly. Under the regulations some waste has been reclassified as hazardous which could have a significant impact on your business. Find out which waste is hazardous, whether you need a licence and how you can dispose of it. The Seminar will also provide the opportunity to find out more about the free services from Envirowise to minimise waste and reduce your environmental impact.
