The WEEE Regulations came in to force from 2nd January 2007.
If your business imports, produces, sells or uses electrical or electronic equipment (EEE) the new WEEE Regulations will affect you.

Key dates:
- Producers have to join a compliance scheme by 15 March 2007.
- Producers have to mark EEE products by 1 April 2007.
- Full responsibility for treating household waste begins on 1 July 2007.
